Upcoming changes to your RACQ Bank products
In October, you will receive important communications from Bendigo Bank. Please read the information you receive carefully. These communications will include personalised details about your new Bendigo Bank products and accounts, key transition dates and any actions required before or after the transition.
Important dates and temporary service outages
To complete the move to Bendigo Bank, all banking services will be unavailable from 12.00pm AEST (Queensland time) Friday 13 November 2026 until 8.00pm AEST Sunday 15 November 2026. During this time, you won't be able to access your RACQ Bank accounts, funds or cards, so it's important to plan ahead and ensure you have access to money for shopping, bills and other expenses.

What you need to do
Some banking services will become unavailable before the transition outage period, including access to cash via RACQ Stores which will stop at 4:30pm AEST (Queensland time) on Thursday, 12 November. We recommend reviewing the information below and taking any necessary action before the relevant service closes.

Once the transition is complete, your RACQ Bank accounts will be permanently closed and can no longer be used for deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers or other transactions. From this point, you'll need to use your new Bendigo Bank accounts for all future banking.

Check your contact details
Make sure your postal address, residential address, email address and mobile number are up to date so you receive important information from RACQ Bank and Bendigo Bank.
You can update your details up until 5pm, 11 November 2026 by visiting an RACQ store, logging in to RACQ Bank internet banking, or calling 1800 637 013.

Prepare for your move to Bendigo BankAll banking services will be unavailable from 12pm AEST Friday 13 November 2026 until 8pm AEST Sunday 15 November 2026 while your accounts move to Bendigo Bank. Plan ahead and make sure you have access to money for shopping, bills and other expenses during this period.

Update your direct debits and credits
After the transition, you'll need to update organisations that pay money into your account or take payments from your account with your new Bendigo Bank account details. A temporary redirection service will be available for 90 days to help you make these changes.

Stay scam aware
RACQ Bank and Bendigo Bank will never ask for your PIN, password, security codes or one-time passcodes, and will never ask you to transfer money to a "safe account", "holding account" or "new account". If you're unsure whether a message is legitimate, don't use the phone number or links provided in the message. Contact RACQ Bank using official contact details.
Stay alert to scams and only use official RACQ Bank or Bendigo Bank contact details.
